About the Author

The author, Andrew Weighell is a mechanical engineer in the UK with special interests in piping, pipe stress, finite element analysis, and CAD. He graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering in 1978. An interest in pipe stress began in 1982 with PSA5. He has worked as a contract piping - pipe stress engineer for many companies around the UK since 1986.
